Every month I say it, but it must be said: I can't believe my baby is so old! He's growing up too fast, but we love this stage of life. He's busy, busy and keeping us on our toes. Lets just say in the past couple of weeks I've lost a couple of pounds (granted I'm also running and strength training) from chasing this boy around!
Some stats:
Weight: 21lbs?
Length: who knows, lol. He's hard for me to measure
Hair: Blonde
Favorite toy: He still LOVES our cell phones, remotes, ipads, and cords (anything he's not supposed to have).
But some of his actual toys that are his favorites are bath toys, toy electric guitar, toy xylophone, Baby Einstein piano, and his little push walker. As much as he loves toys, he would be more than happy to just explore everything.Clothes: He's mostly wearing size 12, but still some t-shirts in size 9 only because we don't have that many everyday shirts in size 12.
Diapers: Just moved him up to size 4, although they seem a bit big.
Sleep: I know I could be more proactive in trying to get Conall to sleep through the night. But he still gets up at least once. I've started letting him cry longer, but I think his upper teeth could be on their way in, so he's been a bit more irritable at night.
Teeth: Two bottom teeth!
New skills: He's not walking around furniture yet, but he is kneeling around furniture. He can also push/walk his walker while on his knees. He's also become much better at picking up things with his thumb and pointer finger and drinking from a sippy cup.
Words: He's starting to speak! He can say mama, dada (although this one is more random) and pipa (Piper our dog).
Favorites: He is LOVING our younger dog Piper, who tolerates him better than our other dog Ellie. Piper will let him touch her/grab her (as long as I'm there to supervise), and will give him tons of kisses. Conall thinks this is the best! He'll touch her, she'll kiss him, he'll turn to giggle, and start again. Another favorite is bath time! This boy LOVES his baths. He'll crawl into the bathroom from the living room when he hears me start his bath.
