22 Weeks (well, almost)

22 Weeks- Baby is as long as a spaghetti squash

How far along:22 weeks almost (or 21 weeks, 6 days)
Total Weight Gain: I don't know. I lost so much in the beginning, I think I may only be up about a pound or two.
Stretchmarks: None yet! Hopefully they will stay away!
Sleep: The past week I've been waking up once a night to pee. Other than that, some weird dreams.
Best Moment This Week: Seeing movement. It's like an alien is inside of me. But there's not. Just a sweet little boy.
Movement: Getting stronger! Jordan hasn't felt them yet, but that's partially his fault. He is afraid he won't be able to, so he doesn't try. He did try once, but baby decided to stop kicking.
Gender: Boy!!
Labor Signs: Um, no thank you. Not yet.
Belly Button: Still in, but it is stretching
What I Miss: With this beautiful summer-like weather, I miss having margaritas with my friends on a patio at Mexican restaurants.
What I am Looking Forward to: Being out of school and able to continue nesting without distractions or other stress.
Milestones: Seeing the movement and starting my nesting. This weekend I completely organized (with shirt boxes and tubs) my closet and have made improvements in the baby room, guest room closet, and 'library' (formal dining).

Movement!

Yesterday as I was sitting in a staff meeting after school, I felt (from the outside) the baby's kick! What an experience! I thought all these movements were still too early, or inside, for others to also feel, but I guess I was wrong.  I had fun trying to make the baby move last night, so I could feel it again.

Jordan is a little (and by a little, I mean QUITE) freaked out by touching my belly. I don't think he's ready to feel the baby move. When he touched my belly for the first time, his eyes widened with shock. I guess he thought my baby bump was all fat or something. Nope... there's a baby in there!  And in 5 days we will find out if it's a girl or boy. At first I thought boy, absolutely. But then after my niece was born my mind switched to girl. I'll honestly be happy with either. Although, little girl outfits, bows, and shoes are so much fun. But then again a baby boy would be the first boy in the family. So either way, I'll be happy!

19 weeks

Pregnancy Questionnaire
How far along: 19 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 5 almost 6 pounds. All baby, thankfully.

Maternity clothes: Just this week I've broken out and bought some maternity pants. I was able to find a couple at thrift stores and I bought another couple of pairs new. I can still fit in my non-maternity shirts, although some are getting kind of tight!

Stretch marks: None yet, thank goodness.

Sleep: I still occasionally wake up once early morning, but not always. I realize this will change in the next few months.

Best moment last week: Feeling the baby move nice and strong! The first identifiable feeling was when I was on the plane to visit my sister in California. I've been feeling little movements ever since.

Movement: Yes! I tend to notice it more right before meal/snack times

Food cravings: Um.. not quite sure. I still like Greek, but it's not a craving so much. I have definitely had my fill of Easter candy this weekend.

Gender: I will find out in 8 days!!

Labor signs: No

Belly button - in or out? In

What I miss: I don't miss that much, although a nice cold margarita would be delicious.

What I am looking forward to: The big reveal in 8 days. Hopefully Baby Kidd will be cooperative.

Milestones: Feeling the baby move!

16 Weeks

Pregnancy Questionnaire
How far along: 16 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss:  Right on track for my size. The doctor said today that my weight gain is perfect! I am still below where I originally started (before I lost so much weight with the flu), but I'm not complaining!

Maternity clothes: I have a pair of yoga pants and black leggings from the Gap. I LOVE them- so comfortable!

Stretch marks: None yet

Sleep: Mostly sleeping through the night. Occasionally will wake up once around 3 or 4 to pee, but not often.

Best moment this week: Going for my 16 week appointment and having little wait and a good talk with my doctor.

Movement: Nothing for certain, some possible flutters. But it could be just gas.

Food cravings: Greek food: chicken schwarma and gyros. I almost cried on the way home after picking some up because I was so excited to eat it.

Gender: Don't know yet, my predictions keep changing.

Labor signs: Zilch, thank goodness.

Belly button - in or out? In

What I miss: Margaritas

What I am looking forward to: Finding out what we're having!

Milestones: 4 months down!
